MXON 2026 in Ernée: Our Custom Jerseys on the World Stage
Share the news!
The 2026 Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, was a very special weekend for us at Checkered Design.
We had the opportunity to create custom race jerseys for four riders competing at the MXON, representing different countries and bringing our designs onto one of the biggest stages in motocross.
Three of the riders raced in ONE Industries jerseys created by us:
Roan van de Moosdijk – Team Netherlands
Emil Weckman – Team Finland
Noam Jayal – Team Morocco
And Valentin Guillod also lined up at the MXON wearing a custom O'NEAL jersey from Checkered Design.
Roan van de Moosdijk on the podium
The biggest highlight of the weekend for us was definitely Roan van de Moosdijk finishing on the podium for Team Netherlands.
There is something pretty special about seeing a jersey that started as a design on a screen being raced at the Motocross of Nations – and then seeing it on the podium at the end of the weekend.
For us, that's what makes custom jerseys so rewarding. We get to be part of a rider's race weekend from the very beginning, turning an idea into a finished jersey and eventually seeing it out on the track.
And when the rider finishes on the podium wearing it, that's a moment we're definitely going to remember.
Four riders, different looks
Every rider has their own style, sponsors and requirements, which is what makes custom racewear so much fun.
For the MXON, we created the ONE Industries jerseys for Roan, Emil and Noam, each designed around their respective teams and countries.
Valentin Guillod, meanwhile, raced in a custom O'NEAL jersey for team Switzlernad made by us.
Seeing all four riders out on the track in racewear that we helped create was a huge highlight for our team.
Ernée 2026 – definitely one to remember.
